Celebrity Astrology: Brendan Fraser

Recently awarded an Oscar for his role in the film “The Whale”, Brendan Fraser is a talented actor with surprising range and depth. He’s gone from goofy to serious. As a younger actor, he was more of a hunky kind of character. But as he has aged and become more substantial (both physically and emotionally), the roles have grown along with him.

Water temperament

From a temperament standpoint, he is a water person with some strong earth characteristics, as well. It is an interesting coincidence that he would get his highest professional award through his performance in a movie named after an aquatic creature. And one that he’s called his “most emotionally demanding role”.

From a physical standpoint, he looks like a water or phlegmatic person. His watery eyes, pale skin, and rounded, youthful features are typical for a phlegmatic. Water people also do have a tendency to put on weight, and it is another interesting coincidence that this pivotal role in “The Whale” would feature his playing an obese character.

Being compassionate and concerned with the greater good, water people have a tendency to sacrifice a lot of themselves in order to contribute. They give more than their fair share. These giving qualities can be taken advantage of by others in the group. Water people can also neglect their own well being. Here is a quote from Fraser that encapsulates this shadow side of the water person:

“I felt like the horse on Animal Farm…He worked for the good of the whole, he didn’t ask questions, he didn’t make trouble until it killed him.”

His physical stature and artistic talent reflect the melancholy or earth part of his temperament.
